PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

New in 2010 is our Prayer Shawl Ministry.  We meet every other Wednesday morning at 9:30am to knit or crochet & pray as we make the prayer shawls to be given to folks that may be going through some serious health problems or other difficult times.  Below is a picture of the first products of those meetings on the altar.  Anyone that can knit, crochet, or pray is invited to come be a part of this new and important ministry!  For meeting days, click on the "Church Calendar" button under the cross & flame on the home page.

Even the children are getting involved with the prayer shawl ministry.  Pictured below they are helping Pastor Julie with the finishing touches for a blanket for a student from Sesser-Valier that just had surgery.  They wanted him to know they were thinking about him and saying prayers for him.
