What is the "Pefect" Church
It doesn't exist. Because we, the individuals who go to churches are not pefect.
But church can be a place filled with people who believe and practice GOD's command to "love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind...and love your neighbor likewise." But how do we do that? At Sesser FUMC we do it by responding to God's love by SHAREING generously, ACCEPTING others, ENJOYING one another in each person's uniqueness, and seeking spiritual GROWTH -- not sameness -- and genuinely caring for each other.
Every church is filled with imperfect people who are saved by the grace of GOD. We are all seeking to become more "Christ like" in our lives. How we do it is together -- knowing that there will be times when we fail. Until we reach perfection we will just have to be an imperfect church.
